Marubishi Malaysia & Minoterie Bourseau as Founding Partners of First Malaysia National Boulangerie Challenge 2024

Marubishi Malaysia is thrilled to announce that, together with our French partner Minoterie Bourseau, we've been invited to be the Founding Partners for the Malaysia National Boulangerie Challenge 2024, hosted by Malaysia Chefs Professional Culinaire Association (PCA).

About the Malaysia National Boulangerie Challenge

The Malaysia National Boulangerie Challenge (MNBC2024) is a competition designed to elevate the artistry of French boulangerie and viennoiserie in Malaysia. 

This event offers a platform for Malaysian bakers, both professionals and apprentices, to showcase their technical skills and creativity in producing high-quality and visually stunning bakery products. The challenge emphasizes on innovation, sustainability, health, and wellness as key principles in modern baking.

T45 and T65: The Foundation of French Baking

To ensure the highest quality standards for the MNBC2024, we’ve chosen to sponsor T45 and T65 Farine de Mon Pere flours. These are the quintessential French flours, widely used in the creation of classic French breads.

Minoterie Bourseau's T45 and T65 flours are meticulously crafted to provide the ideal balance of protein content, gluten development, and absorption properties, making them essential tools for bakers aiming to produce authentic French loaves.

  
The T45 pictured on the left is made from wheat selected for it's quality baking quality, making it a superior quality flour suitable for pastry. 

On the right, is the T65 flour suitable for making all types of high-end French bread. In particular, it's used for the production of the Red Label Traditional French Bread, made using a traditional breadmaking method in accordance with the bread decree of 1993.

The Malaysia National Boulangerie Challenge 2024 has proven to be a resounding success, showcasing the exceptional talent and passion of Malaysia's baking community.

Our in-house technical advisor, Chef Snowvy, was a member of the tasting jury and had the opportunity to sample the competitors' impressive creations.

 

Rising Stars: The Apprentice Creations

The apprentice teams also showcased remarkable talent and creativity in their final creations.

Their showpieces were impressive and inspiring, demonstrating a promising future for Malaysian baking, proving that passion and dedication can lead to extraordinary results.

As Malaysia’s first ever national competition dedicated to French boulangerie and viennoiserie, the Malaysia National Boulangerie Challenge 2024 marks a significant milestone in the country’s culinary landscape and we are truly honored to have been selected as a founding partner for this initiative. 

From the professional teams to the aspiring apprentices, each participant demonstrated a unique approach to French breadmaking. The competition has not only highlighted the country's culinary prowess but has also inspired a new generation of bakers to strive for excellence.
